Everyone is always talking about the importance of having a great Swipe file.
I just wanted to share below my technique for developing one.
- Set up a free email account. I tend to use Yahoo, but Hotmail and Gmail are just as good.
- Sign up to the mailing list of every guru and internet marketer you can find using your free email address.
- Log into your free account periodically and glance through the emails.
- Every Email you find that you want to open you should save into a folder.
And there you have it, a great swipe file.
As an additional tip log into Digg regularly. Look for the most popular stories and you can be guaranteed that they are titles that people click on, so modify it and use it as your email header when you send out mails to your list.
